The committee’s goal is to bring together Virginia’s water and wastewater professionals to develop and inform on safety issues that effect people who work in the water sector and the communities they serve.  

The Committee aims to improve the safety record of the water industry and annually administers award programs to recognize water and wastewater utilities with excellent safety practices.

With a roster of industry experts, the committee provides speakers for conferences as well as hosting their own educational events.
