
Give back to the Earth while having a fun time with friends, family, and industry peers! Earth Day Clean Ups will be held in Eastern, Central, Northern, and Southwest Virginia.
This event is free, but registration is required.
Eastern VA Cleanup
April 22nd | 9:00-10:30 am

Bring a water bottle and wear close-toed shoes. Make sure to dress for the weather!
Northern VA Cleanup
April 15 | 12:00 – 2:00 PM

Sally Ormsby Park on Prosperity Ave, Fairfax, VA 22031
(Please note parking is limited. If parking is all occupied, volunteers can walk in from Eakin Park on Tobin Road.)
Volunteers should dress appropriately for walking in the woods, with long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy footwear. Please also be cautious of ticks and poison ivy. Bags and gloves will be available, but feel free to bring any of your own additional supplies/protection (such as sunscreen, water bottle, hat, etc).
Central VA Cleanup
April 22 | 10 am - noon
In partnership with Chesterfield County
Falling Creek Ironworks Park (6407 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Richmond, VA 23234)
Lunch and water provided by VWEA. Recommended wear includes hard sole closed-toe shoes and clothes appropriate to weather conditions and site conditions. Long pants and long-sleeved shirts are recommended for rough terrain, poison ivy, brambles, etc. Bring a hat, water, sunscreen, bug spray, and allergy medication (if you have allergies to bee stings, etc). This is a rain-or-shine event. Dress appropriately for the weather. And don't forget to bring your friends!
