Southeast Rural Community Assistance Program (SERCAP) along with its partner the Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association (VA AWWA) invites representatives of Small Community Water Systems (fewer than 10,000 persons served), to a FREE one-day workshop: Achieve and Maintain Compliance with the SDWA.
NOTE: Priority will be given to utility operators serving systems with fewer than 10,000 persons, but there are generally a few seats available for people with other reasons for attending.  Please contact the event organizer if you are not able to complete your registration and would like to be considered for the waiting list.
 
Achieve and Maintain Compliance with the SDWA
Your utility faces day-to-day challenges providing reliable, safe drinking water for your customers while voiding costly violations.  This FREE one-day workshop is offered to help your utility learn about compliance with drinking water regulations and steps to avoid those costly violations.  
 
The content for this workshop will include many "hot topics" in water today:
  • Distribution System Infrastructure & Water Quality 

  • Flushing

  • Main Breaks and Cross Connections

  • Controlling Lead in Drinking Water

  • Contaminant of Concern: PFAS
