SERVICE LINE INVENTORY DEVELOPMENT

Gain insight as our panelists analyze the new guidance from the USEPA regarding service line inventory development.  Among the regulatory changes, utilities will be required to prepare a publicly-available service line inventory, including the public and private portions of service lines, by 2024.

The service line inventory is a new paradigm widely considered to have significant impacts on utilities’ asset management and public communications with customers. Even utilities without known lead service lines will need to prepare an inventory and track unknown service lines, which are considered to be potentially lead.

This webinar will feature a discussion of the service line inventory by the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), followed by utility case studies from Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority and Greater Cincinnati Water Works.
