The EPA proposed Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) on November 30, 2023. The proposed LCRI rolls back certain aspects of the previously promulgated Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), while retaining other aspects for enforcement starting in October 2024. Speakers from the VDH Office of Drinking Water will provide an overview of the proposed LCRI with specific focus on:
- Changes in the new rule
- Sampling, monitoring, and reporting requirements
