Calling all Plant Operators, Utility Staff, Managers, and anyone interested in improving their skills! Join us for a full day of Operator Management training focusing on Utility Ethics. Ethics training helps the members of a utility judge the moral legitimacy of their decisions, enabling them to apply moral principles and values in their daily actions and choices.

Participants will learn:
  • How to define ethics
  • How to avoid conflicts of interest
  • How to maintain confidentiality
  • Proper recordkeeping
  • Manage contracts and vendors
  • Common rationalizations
  • How to report unethical behavior
This seminar is geared towards all utility staff and focuses on ethical dilemmas and knowing the appropriate course of action to take on the job. 
 
A continental breakfast and networking time will begin at 8:30 AM.  Margie Hamner of Starfish Consulting will be providing the classroom training starting at 9:00 AM.  Lunch will be provided and after the classroom training, a plant tour of the Henrico Water Treatment Facility will be offered. 
 
 
CPE Credits
Approved for 5 Operator Management hours
Plant tour has been approved for 1 regular operator CPE hour
