The Water Awareness and Outreach committee has compiled a list of resources correlated to the Virginia Science Standards of Learning (SOLs) to teach students about the water industry, watersheds and the water cycle. As a benefit to VA AWWA and VWEA members, we have created an archive with a Guide to the SOLs tailored to the water industry, along with our favorite lesson plans and printable materials to share with students.

Webinar: How to Win Big at Water JAM!
Be recognized for your outstanding public relations, education, and outreach efforts! Awards are presented annually to Virginia Section AWWA and VWEA members at WaterJAM. Submit nominations by May 31st for work accomplished in the 12 months prior. Campaigns are eligible in four categories representing a variety of traditional and multimedia formats: Water Awareness & Education, Issues & Crisis Management, Internal Communications, and Social Media.
