The Virginia Section had a strong presence at this year's ACE! Members enjoyed an impressive educational program, networking, exhibit hall and more! We are especially proud of all the VA AWWA members who stepped up to volunteer in a variety of roles to ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
A few Virginia Section highlights from the conference included:
- Sarah Baumgardner, Western Virginia Water Authority accepting the Public Communications Achievement Award
- Kadmiel Adusei, Virginia Tech, placed 2nd in the Fresh Ideas Student Poster Contest
- Jacob Harrison, Prince William Water, placed 3rd in the Meter Challenge
- Over a hundred Virginia Section members enjoyed an evening of networking and connection at City Tap House
