This award will be presented to a Virginia waterworks facility that promotes an active and effective safety program.
Your facility's current safety record (OSHA 300 log) is important, but documentation of your safety program is the main consideration. Your policies, procedures, housekeeping and training records are equally important. All these elements will be reviewed during an on-site interview by the Safety team. The committee will rank the information presented during the interview and during a facility walkthrough. The final selection will be based on the overall objective ranking.
