There is life outside of WaterJAM.  Take a look at the excellent training we have lined up for this Fall!
  • Small Systems Training: Risk, Resilience, Rates, Reporting and More! - Your utility faces day-to-day challenges providing reliable, safe drinking water for your customers while avoiding costly violations.  This FREE one-day workshop is offered to help your utility learn about compliance with drinking water regulations and steps to avoid those costly violations.
  • Cross Connection Devicies: Inspection, Maintenance, and Testing - 16 hours - This three (3) day training course is offered in support of the Safe Drinking Water Act and Virginia Waterworks Regulations. It is designed to prepare participants to test, inspect, and provide in-line maintenance of reduced pressure zone and other backflow prevention devices. Training includes both classroom and hands-on instruction with actual devices.
  • 35th Annual Water Distribution Seminar and Utility Rodeo - This traditional "hands-on" seminar is designed to provide distribution system personnel with practical information on relevant subjects. The ever-popular Utility Rodeo provides various utility-related competitive events in which participants compete against fellow utility personnel in demos of skill, speed, and safety.
  • Fall Plant Operations Seminar - This year we're taking our annual event to Blue Ridge Community College! We're very excited to expand our capacity for more attendees, a few vendors, and the room for some hands-on activities! This event includes lunch and a local facility tour with Augusta Water. Save your seat today!
  • YP Summit - Please join the Young Professionals Committee for Virginia’s first YP Summit! At this event, YPs from around the state will gather to hear from experienced leaders in the water industry, as well as from fellow young professionals. The YP Summit is focused on teaching soft skills that may not always be learned on the job and hearing from influential members of the water industry on their career paths and lessons learned along the way.
