This position is responsible for a variety of engineering, technical, managerial, supervisory, and administrative tasks related to the planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the operation of; storm water management, MS-4 permitting, solid waste management, recycling, and urban forestry for the Department of Public Works and Capital Projects. Work includes managing staff resources, contracts and promoting storm water, environmental and solid waste activities through public education, outreach, code compliance and enforcement. This position requires a high degree of professional engineering judgment and technical civil engineering experience in the fields of storm water management design, inspection, maintenance, and flood control.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science/Management  or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in stormwater, MS-4 permitting and/or solid waste management/operations experience; including three (3) years of management/supervisory responsibility; Professional Engineer (PE) License; valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
