The City of Danville, VA is looking for a Water Chemist. The purpose of this position is to maintain and operate a state-certified analytical laboratory, collecting and analyzing daily Microbiological samples. This is accomplished by conducting monthly QA and preparing reports for VDH; training operations staff in the new or updated Lab standard operating procedures; maintaining certification by participating in an annual proficiency test for the Coli tag and Heterotrophic plate count methods.
Salary: $44,605.00 - $53,526.00 Annually
