The Water Reach Committee hosts an annual silent auction and reception at WaterJAM each year to raise funds to assist small systems in communities throughout the Commonwealth. Last year's auction raised almost $2,000 to support the committee's mission.

These funds are used for a variety of projects. Most recently, the committee assisted a small system in Louisa County. The project included site visits, asset inventory, system mapping, condition assessments, and prioritized recommendations to support long-term planning. Through this effort, the committee identified critical infrastructure needs and VA AWWA awarded the utility a $2,000 grant to help fund the repair and purchase of updated pump systems.
The committee is requesting donations for their silent auction again this year. Items can include plants, homemade items, decor, swag baskets, gift cards, experience, and more! If you would like to donate an item to this year’s silent auction, please email Gregory Prelewicz (gprelewicz@fairfaxwater.org) and Ha Dao (hdao@rkk.com). Please include provide a brief description of the item, send a digital photo, and provide a suggested value of the donated item.
36th Annual Water Distribution Seminar and Utility Rodeo
