VA AWWA and VWEA are currently looking for a few great volunteers to serve as judges for the Science Fair awards at regional and state science fairs across Virginia. These events are held to foster mentoring and networking, and it's a great opportunity for you to get involved in your local community. Whether you are a young or seasoned professional, you're welcome to give back in this easy and fun way. Most science fairs take place between March 2-16, except for the Virginia State Fair, which will be held in early April. 
All regulated community and nontransient noncommunity (NTNC) waterworks are required to submit an inventory of lead service lines to the VDH Office of Drinking Water no later than October 16, 2024. ODW contracted with a software development company, GEC, to develop an online portal for waterworks to obtain the templates and upload inventories to meet the requirements. All waterworks must use this online portal for submitting their service line inventory.
It is time for Virginia to register their delegates for the AWWA Water Matters! Fly-in to take place on April 9-10. This annual event allows members to meet with their legislative representatives to discuss water issues and concerns and inform them of the importance of water and water-related funding on the federal level. We invite you to participate in these congressional meetings to ensure your voice is heard.

You will be entered into a random drawing for a $100 gift card to be given out at WaterJAM for each category that you complete! The top points earner will automatically receive a $500 gift card!
