Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project (SERCAP) along with its partner the Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association (VA AWWA) invites representatives of Small Community Water Systems (fewer than 10,000 persons served), to a FREE one-day workshop! This training is sponsored by the Virginia Department of Health- Office of Drinking Water. The same program will be offered at two locations to serve a broader audience.
NOTE: Priority will be given to utility operators serving systems with fewer than 10,000 persons, but there are generally a few seats available for people with other reasons for attending.  Please contact the event organizer if you are not able to complete your registration and would like to be considered for the waiting list.

Achieve and Maintain Compliance with the SDWA

Your utility faces day-to-day challenges providing reliable, safe drinking water for your customers.  This FREE one-day workshop is offered to help your utility learn about compliance with drinking water regulations and steps to avoid costly violations. The 2026 class will repeat some of the 2025 class content.
