The Joint Technology Services Committee invites you to continue the conversation around SCADA that we started at the WaterJAM Workshop! The To Be or Not To Be SCADA workshop focused on teaching participants the basics of how a SCADA system works, what the design looks like, and being able to see the equipment in person. Our next two Roundtables will be focused on continuing the conversation around SCADA and the importance of testing the network security. In November, we will host a roundtable discussion entitled, “Network Penetration Testing for SCADA – Part 1 – Preparation Considerations.” Several committee members will lead this discussion with their own experiences and encourage other participants to join in to the conversation and share their own experiences. In December, the committee will follow up with “Network Penetration Testing for SCADA – Part 2 – Lessons Learned". The format of the discussion will again be roundtable style to encourage the participation of all members to share the lessons they have learned during their network penetration testing.
