Judges Needed for Tidewater Model Water Tower Competition
The Student Activities Committee's Tidewater Model Water Tower Competition is looking for volunteers to serve as judges on Saturday, November 7 from 9am - noon. The competition will be held at the City of Virginia Beach's Department of Public Utilities. In this competition, teams of middle schoolers build functional small-scale water towers to be evaluated at the competition for prizes.

We’re looking for judges for the competition to score the towers on various engineering and aesthetic criteria to determine a winner.  Judges don’t need any prior experience!  Training will be provided on the morning of the competition.

Come out for a fun morning to see what the kids have made and to be the face of water infrastructure in the community.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mark Titcomb (mtitcomb@nnva.gov)
