13 Jul 2026 Cross Connection Devices: Inspection, Maintenance, and Testing- 16 Hours Jul 13, 2026 8:30 AM - Jul 15, 2026 5:00 PM This three (3) day training course is offered in support of the Safe Drinking Water Act and Virginia Waterworks Regulations. It is designed to prepare participants to test, inspect, and provide in-line maintenance of reduced pressure zone and other backflow prevention devices. Training includes both classroom and hands-on instruction with actual devices.

The conference is designed to provide the latest information on major issues such as method updates, laboratory accreditation, and new technologies. Attendance is recommended for any environmental professional involved in the analysis of water or wastewater, especially laboratory analysts, laboratory managers, instrumentation and equipment manufacturers, plant operators, regulatory personnel, environmental engineers and environmental compliance managers.

This traditional "hands-on" seminar is designed to provide distribution system personnel with practical information on relevant subjects. The ever-popular Utility Rodeo provides various utility-related competitive events in which participants compete against fellow utility personnel in demos of skill, speed, and safety.
