This three (3) day training course is offered in support of the Safe Drinking Water Act and Virginia Waterworks Regulations. It is designed to prepare participants to test, inspect, and provide in-line maintenance of reduced pressure zone and other backflow prevention devices. Training includes both classroom and hands-on instruction with actual devices.

The VA AWWA Distribution Systems Committee announces the 34th Annual Water Distribution Seminar and Utility Rodeo to be held on October 7-9 in Norfolk, VA. This traditional "hands-on" seminar is designed to provide distribution system personnel with practical information on relevant subjects. The ever-popular Utility Rodeo provides various utility-related competitive events in which participants compete against fellow utility personnel in demos of skill, speed, and safety.
